Yaira was the break our character and favorite in Isom #1 she even outsold Isom in posters. Her character was thought out a lot of mystery merged with her introduction because of her power beauty and how she carries herself.
An amazing edition to Yaira was her live action trailer the very first out of The Rippaverse. Being able to see her in real is something special, especially for indie comics.
Jen & Sylv’s writing skills are excellent. Yaira has many sides and skills not only physically but mentally, in these conversations she has and the job she has that her intellect is vast. Most likely one of if not thy smartest being in the Rippaverse right now.
Each character both good and bad are written with passion and excitement. So many characters in Yaira #1 that you could love and enjoy.
Yaira is also very aggressive and protective and in her story you find out why she is this way. Sometimes Yaira can bite off more than she can chew but she doesn't back off but strategies to win. She has no fear and only sees opponents and her goal you are simply in the way regardless of what you're abilities might be.
The lore behind Yaira is well thought out written and heartbreaking. It's very understandable why she would be this way.
The many villains in this story are fantastic and all have their own impact on the story and placed perfectly. Yaira #1 has the best action and art so far it's simply wonderful to look at.

I think this issue did a very good job at showcasing how Yaira is one of the heaviest hitters in the Rippaverse in terms of power, both in comparison to other characters by having her battle Solari and the Alphacore to a standstill multiple times, and also in sheer showcases of power by having her create entire storms and send beams of light into space.
I like this because they could have easily just have said "Yaira is one of the most powerful Excepts", but instead they made sure to showcase this indirectly. They showed rather than telling. This is a big deal in writing.
Nice!
